Soujanya

Soujnaya is a girl with a positive attitude, opines that her education’s continuity was only possible with Oracle’s support. Otherwise, she would have had to discontinue her education and look for a job to support her family.

The father of Soujanya is affected by leprosy and lymphatic filariasis.  A beneficiary from Nallakunta Referral Centre, the father, avails the essential services in leprosy/lymphatic filariasis such as customised footwear, ulcer-care kit and counselling. Earlier, his job was to allot parking areas for vehicles near the cinema theatres.  On being affected, his health did not permit him to continue his career.  Soujanya’s mother works to run the family as support staff in a small firm.

The cost of family maintenance and meeting the children’s educational purposes (Soujanya and her brother) is a tough challenge for the family, given its annual income.

The spark in Soujanya’s face indicates that she will definitely reach a position with the continuation of her education, thereby a better living for her and the family. She was benefitted from the CHAHA education support when she was in a graduation course (B.Com).

Soujanya is now working as an executive in a financial company. She is very happy and looking after her family. The family is very happy now and conveyed their thanks for supporting her education which made her possible to lead a comfortable life.
