Medha Shree

This is the story of a 19 years old, brilliant and potential girl named Medha Shree. She is pursuing BBA from MDDM College at Muzaffarpur in Bihar. During our visit, we met her and discussed her future goal and carrier. She wishes to become self-dependent after completing her MBA from anyone reputed college. She was willing to engage in some job, but she denied joining the job due to her busy schedule.

She discussed her family and financial situations. She said that there is no doubt that my father Mr. Kamlesh Chandra Lal, is suffering from leprosy for a long time, but he is always optimistic. Due to his hard work and dedication, he resolves many significant issues during our survival. She said that you could look at me that I am happy, and it was possible just because of my father, who always encouraged me and thanks to the CHAHA project, which played a significant role in my academic carrier. We are getting fellowship through LEPRA implemented CHAHA project, which is very useful for further my studies.

My father is a real fighter, and we have faced many financial and social-economic issues due to leprosy. Still, my father always struggled with his disability, and mostly, he wins. She said that my father is a role model for me, and we have learned from him that nothing is impossible because he always said that “where there is a will there is a way”. My mother name is Smt. Sanjana Kumari, and we are very proud of her because she completed her post-graduation to support our family financially. She always cares for us and maintaining all the responsibilities very efficiently.

During our conversation, she said that only downright hard work could give glory, success, happiness, and overall development and perfection in life. Our team felt that if she gets some financial assistance, then she will fulfil her desire. We tried to help her, and recently she received financial assistance from Oracle funded project ‘CHAHA Project’ through LEPRA.

After receiving the education support, she felt delighted and asked to help more students like her and support them. She said many talented students could not achieve their goals due to financial constraints.
