This position will mainly focus on design and implement inclusive livelihood strategies; Promote diversified income sources; Facilitate training, capacity building, and participatory rural appraisals (PRAs); Initiate studies/research and ensure social convergence In addition, will also be responsible for promoting the LEPRA brand and raising awareness about the organisation. Build an increasing, diversified, network of supporters and mobilise funds to meet current and future needs. The Livelihood Expert will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and monitoring sustainable livelihood programs at LEPRA Projects. The individual will work closely with local communities, PRIs, and government bodies to promote livelihood enhancement initiatives and ensure their alignment with LEPRA strategic objectives.

Job Description: Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design and implement inclusive livelihood strategies for rural, urban, and tribal communities aligned with LEPRA’s objectives.
- Promote diversified income sources such as agriculture, allied, non-farm, and forest-based livelihoods tailored to local contexts.
- Facilitate training, capacity building, and participatory rural appraisals (PRAs) to empower communities and stakeholders.
- Mobilize and strengthen community institutions like SHGs, SSGs, FPOs, and CBOs, encouraging community ownership of initiatives.
- Ensure effective project planning and implementation, including financial planning, activity execution, and troubleshooting.
- Initiate studies/research and ensure social convergence in line with project mandates to support evidence-based programming.
- Monitor field activities and conduct M&E visits, developing frameworks to assess program quality, impact, and accountability.
- Build partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders, including government bodies, CSOs, and private sector actors for resource leverage.
- Coordinate with consultants and internal teams, maintaining strong professional relationships to ensure timely and efficient implementation.
- Lead documentation and reporting efforts, including financial, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and oversight of consultant deliverables.
